Team UK started strong. They had a few opportunities to score, but either missed the goal or the Hungarian goalkeeper saved brilliantly. In spite of the opportunities of UK Hungary took the lead. After a free kick came off the crossbar Noemi Matyas scored. Unfortunately Hungary could not keep the lead for long, UK equalized after a minute. The Hungarian goal was constantly under pressure and UK scored two more goals before half time (1-3). At the beginning of the second half they scored again which decided the result of the encounter.
Final result: Hungary – United Kingdom 1-5 (1-3). This means that the national police team of UK will participate in the European Championships in Prague next year.
